Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at the Winston Campus to support pharmacists in preparing and processing medications. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm with no weekends and holiday rotation.

The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and requires NC pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a CPhT certification, and good math, communication,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
PTCB/NHA technician certification (CPhT) required.
North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration as a pharmacy technician required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and processing medication orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate charging.
Collaborate with team and organize daily tasks for maximum efficiency.
Maintain medicine stock in good condition to ensure availability of quality drugs.
Provide pharmacy services in patient care areas.
Contribute to quality improvement and support total quality principles.
Keep knowledge and skills up to date and assist with teaching others.
Set personal goals to support departmental objectives.
Follow hospital standards to foster a positive work environment through communication and teamwork.
Care for patients across different age groups per Age Specific Care Guidelines.
