Job summary

Atrium Health in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the 1st shift. This full-time position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a Monday-Friday schedule (8a-4:30p) with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• For NC technicians with validating responsibilities, an associate’s degree in pharmacy technology is required.
• Registration/Licensure with state board of pharmacy per state of employment requirements.
• Certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) or National Health Career Association (ExCPT).
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in health care, insurance industry, pharmacy, or medical background.

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies.
• Acts as an expert with equipment and technology in the specialized area.
• Solves technical issues in the area as they arise.
• Keeps documents and records accurate and timely.
