Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Winston Campus to assist with medication preparation and distribution. You will label, stock, and verify medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, while supporting inventory control and quality initiatives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, NC Pharmacy registration within 30 days, and certification (CPhT or ExCPT) within 18 months. A sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NC Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification required within 18 months of start date.
• One year pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with preparation and distribution of medications.
• Prepare, label, and check medications including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Support medication distribution and inventory control tasks.
• Screen and route phone calls using proper etiquette.
• Document processes for removal, stocking, and waste of controlled substances.
