Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists with compounding, unit-dose preparation, and medication delivery across patient care areas.

Under direct supervision, you will handle non-sterile compounding, medication storage checks, and billing duties, with potential work in IV rooms, automation, and informatics. Two years of pharmacy tech experience is preferred and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy certificate.
• Must achieve CPhT within 12 months if provisional certificate.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-sterile compounding and stocking automated dispensing cabinets.
• Prepare unit-dose medications.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Check medication storage areas for outdated items.
• Complete billing duties.
• May work in IV room, controlled substance distribution and monitoring, automation, informatics, and medication reconciliation.
