HCA HealthONE Swedish in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to perform non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose drug preparation, delivering medications to patient care areas, checking storage areas for outdates, and aiding with billing.

Candidates must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or hold a Colorado Board of Pharmacy certificate; a Provisional Certificate is acceptable with

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or national equivalent with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) certificate.
If hired with a Provisional Certificate, must become CPhT within 12 months.
Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform non-sterile compounding and unit dose drug preparation.
Stock automated dispensing cabinets and check storage areas for outdates.
Deliver medications to patient care areas and assist with billing.
Serve as lead or SME in designated specialty area and help write policies and train staff.
Oversee projects and participate in departmental committees.
