Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I in Colorado. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will perform non-sterile compounding, stock automated dispensing cabinets, and prepare unit doses.

You may deliver medications to patient care areas and assist with medication storage and billing. Requirements include a Colorado-accepted Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPhT or provisional) and education of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) certificate, or provisional certificate.
• Must achieve CPhT within 12 months if hired on provisional certificate.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-sterile compounding and prepare medications under direct supervision.
• Stock automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose drug preparation.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and check storage areas for out-dates.
• Assist with billing and other duties as assigned.
