Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations inside Freeman Medical in Springdale, AR. You will work under a licensed pharmacist, perform dispensing tasks, and ensure accurate medication handling in a hospital setting.

This full-time role (32 hours/week) emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with nursing staff and pharmacists. Hospital experience is preferred, and a HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless required by the State.
• Hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle the daily operations of the pharmacy under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Pick up drug orders at nursing stations and prepare medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Deliver the appropriate quantities of medications to patient areas.
• Assist with accurate billing and crediting of patient medications.
• Maintain drugs in the pharmacy per the Drug Formulary, including ordering, receiving, storing and paperwork.
• Monitor doses and maintain narcotics and other controlled substances records.

• Maintaining all forms and reports necessary for the control of narcotics and other controlled substances.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless required by the State
