Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Some pharmacy-related or hospital clinical background preferred.
• Preference will be given to nationally certified pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing medications for dispensing.
• Run the pharmacy robot and maintain stock in automated cabinets.
• Draw up doses in the IV clean room with aseptic technique.
• Perform stock QA inspections on nursing units.
• Make delivery/pickup rounds to units and departments and perform computer order entry.
• Provide customer service by processing medication requests.
