This temporary non-benefitted role assists a licensed pharmacist, as directed, in compounding, preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of both hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceuticals to fill valid prescriptions or medication orders. Performs essential functions related to pharmaceutical compounding, medication distribution, quality assurance and compliance, and medication inventory management, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and complies with all federal and New York State laws, rules, and regulations as promulgated by the New York State Board of Pharmacy. Responsible for all duties related to the Pharmacy Assistants. The starting pay for this position $22.59/hour.

High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of six (6) months of full-time pharmacy assistant or pharmacy technician experience.
