Job summary

Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in dispensing medications and supporting nursing units at our Randallstown area campus in Maryland.

Responsibilities include delivering medications, preparing unit doses and IV admixtures, and maintaining accurate records under LifeBridge Health standards. Current MD license or eligibility and Pharm Tech Certification are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician
• High School / GED preferred
• Maryland Pharmacy Technician License - current or eligible

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications across hospital areas.
• Deliver medications to nursing units and prepare unit doses, IV admixtures, and injectables.
• Complete required record keeping and maintain compliance with LifeBridge Health standards.

Summary:

Performs a variety of activities to assist in dispensing medications throughout appropriate areas of the Hospital; delivers medications to nursing units, prepares injectable medications, unit doses, IV admixtures, etc. ; completes necessary record keeping and performs other duties as assigned. Works in partnership with other staff members and pro-actively identifies and provides for the customers' needs using the LifeBridge Health customer service standards as identified on each campus. Performs related duties as required or assigned.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $33.17 Based On Experience
