Summary:
Pharmacy Technicians provides a moderate level of assistance to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with the medication delivery system. Technicians will prepare new and refill medication doses which include oral, injectable, IV solutions, floor stock requests and other supply needs. They will communicate any issues with order preparation and delivery with staff pharmacist. A moderate level is identified as mastering five of the advanced practice competencies.
