What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and triage customer service issues
- Prepare prescription and non-prescription medications and/or devices
- Stock and replenish stock locations and automated dispensing machines
- Serve as a preceptor and assist with orientation and training of pharmacy department staff
- Communicate supply issues, problems, or discrepancies appropriately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, including phone interactions
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
- Associate's degree in a health or related field, with 1 year of pharmacy experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire for Pharmacy Technicians in the Retail or Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations
