Job summary

Mercy Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications. The technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, following all safety standards and regulations.

Full-time, Monday–Friday (days). On-site in St. Louis, MO. Valid MO Pharmacy Technician license or eligible, fingerprints for FBI background check, and orientation completion required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalence required.
• Active MO Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to submit registration by first day of work.
• Fingerprints for FBI background check required.
• 1 year pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB preferred for Tech II/III.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow standards and federal, state and local regulations for patient safety.
• Support supervising pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations.

Skills
