Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications with strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The Tech II level requires active Missouri registration and CPhT, with 1 year of experience (2 years preferred). Tech I–III outline progressive licensure and experience expectations.

Mercy emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork. Location is temporarily based at Mercy Old Tesson; full-time schedule is 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for Tech I/II/III.
• Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration or willingness to apply by first day of work; fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Tech II requires 1 year of pharmacy experience (2 years preferred) and CPhT certification.
• Tech III requires 3 years of pharmacy experience and CPhT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Adhere to federal, state and local laws and Mercy policies in all pharmacy operations.
