Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I, Retail to support pharmacists in preparing, filling and dispensing medications at Skokie Hospital. This full-time role includes day shifts with weekend rotation and holiday coverage.

You will maintain patient records, label doses, manage inventory, and collaborate with the pharmacy team. Illinois license is required; PTCB certification is preferred with a two-year plan to become certified.

Qualifications

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies
