Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician I, Retail to join the team at Skokie Hospital. You will assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications, while maintaining patient records and packaging doses for accurate delivery.

The role requires a current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license, a high school diploma, and preferred CPhT certification with a plan to obtain board certification within 2 years. Retail experience is a plus and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPhT preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved exam within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Education
