A Colorado-licensed Pharmacy Technician certificate (CPhT or national equivalent) or provisional certificate is required, with a plan to obtain full certification within 12 months if provisional.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician Certificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate.
• If hired with a Provisional Certificate, must achieve full CPhT within 12 months of hire.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose drug preparation.
• Delivering medications to patient care areas and checking storage for outdates.
• Billing and other duties as assigned.
