Job summary
EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists and healthcare staff in providing safe pharmaceutical services. The role focuses on timely medication delivery, accurate compounding, and efficient support of clinical pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities include triaging calls, calculating doses, preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and operating pharmacy technology.
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated organizational ability.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists, patients and staff in pharmaceutical services.
- Deliver medications promptly to patient care areas and triage medication delivery.
- Triage phone and in-person requests with excellent customer service.
- Prepare medications safely using compounding formulas and packaging equipment.
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
- Operate pharmacy automation and technology supporting daily activities.
- Maintain chain of custody for controlled substances and ensure compliance with policies.
- Complete daily tasks and support team workflow.
