Job summary

Preferred Family Health Care in Hannibal, MO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacists and clinical teams in delivering accurate medication services. You will assist with prescription processing, labeling, insurance claims, inventory, and patient questions, while maintaining a compassionate, efficient pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the appropriate Board of Pharmacy or application submitted.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, including counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
Receive and process new prescriptions and refill requests from prescribers.
Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Prepare and submit insurance claims and verify payment processing.
Respond to routine pharmacy questions and provide compassionate customer service.
