You will support prescription processing, insurance claims, and stock management while growing clinical and customer-service skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid pharmacy technician license in good standing with the appropriate board of pharmacy or application submitted.
• Successful completion of background check and Relias training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic and advanced technician training modules to gain essential computer RX knowledge.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure satisfaction with pharmacy services.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries not requiring pharmacist expertise.
• Receive new prescriptions and process refill requests from prescribers.
• Gather and record information to prepare prescriptions efficiently.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions by counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
• Maintain a well-stocked pharmacy by ordering and checking-in supplies.
• Prepare insurance claims and confirm payment processing.
• Help patients locate over-the-counter medications.
• Complete housekeeping duties within the pharmacy environment.
