Job summary

Brightli seeks a Pharmacy Technician I in Hannibal, MO to support pharmacists and clinical teams in delivering medications and patient care. You will help create a welcoming, efficient pharmacy experien ce and handle prescription processing, insurance claims, and inventory management.

This role requires attention to detail, service-driven mindset, and commitment to whole-person care as part of Brightli's mission to improve community health.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in good standing or active application in process.

Responsibilities

• Complete required technician training modules to build pharmacy and RX system knowledge.
• Provide compassionate, respectful customer service aligned with Brightli values.
• Respond to incoming calls and routine pharmacy questions within scope.
• Receive and process new prescriptions and refill requests from prescribers.
• Collect and document accurate patient and prescription information.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, including counting, pouring, and labeling medications.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims and verify payment processing.
• Assist patients with locating over-the-counter medications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment.
• Make deliveries and process payments as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and staff development to support quality improvement.
