Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited program in pharmacy technician studies.
• Two years of experience preferred in a pharmacy setting.
• CPHT licensure preferred or in pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Fills routine prescriptions with prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains records on prescriptions and inventory and prepares labels.
• May process insurance claims and provide detailed receipts.
• Resolves problems related to prescription inquiries.
• Implements inventory control procedures and orders merchandise within guidelines.
