Job summary

Centerstone Health Services in Indiana is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and health care products to patients. You will fill prescriptions, maintain records, process insurance claims, and help with inventory control.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited program in pharmacy technician studies.
• Two years of experience preferred in a pharmacy setting.
• CPHT licensure preferred or in pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Fills routine prescriptions with prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains records on prescriptions and inventory and prepares labels.
• May process insurance claims and provide detailed receipts.
• Resolves problems related to prescription inquiries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists pharmacists to provide medication and other health care products to patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fills routine prescriptions with prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
• Keeps maintenance of records on prescriptions and inventory, and prepares labels.
• May process insurance claims and provide detailed prescription receipts.
• Resolves problems related to prescription inquiries.
• Responsible for implementing inventory control procedures and ordering merchandise within regulatory guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Level: Completion of accredited program
• Years of Experience: 2 years of experience preferred
• Certification/Licensure: CPHT licensure preferred

Pay Range:

$17.35--$24.30
