Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Blaine, MN is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the Site Manager and Pharmacist-In-Charge. You will respond to insurance questions, process prescriptions, and assist in preparing and dispensing medications while delivering excellent customer service.

This role includes entering new and refill prescriptions, handling recalls, and helping maintain an organized, compliant pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Active technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions and gather required information per policy.
• Assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Verify insurance and resolve related issues for customers.
• Enter prescriptions into computer system including refills.
• Assist with inventory management and stock verification.
• Handle cash register transactions.
• Support pharmacist and site manager in daily operations.
• Provide professional customer service and answer questions.
• Assist in onboarding and training staff on processes.
