Job summary

Memorial Health seeks a Part-time Pharmacy Technician at our on-site Decatur campus. This role is 16 hours per week with a day shift and every 3rd weekend rotation, supervised by a licensed Pharmacist and compliant with state/federal regs.

Requirements include a State of Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (or within 60 days), PTCB or ExCPT certification by the second license renewal (with listed exceptions), strong communication, basic math, and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

Requires High School diploma or current enrollment in GED program.
Must obtain Illinois Pharmacy Technician license within 60 days of application.
PTCB or ExCPT certification required by second license renewal, with certain exemptions.
Demonstrates good communication, problem solving, math, and customer relations skills.
Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to use electronic databases.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, prepares and distributes medications.
Maintains drug inventory and patient records.
Provides courteous, accurate service to patients and staff.
