The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist in medication preparation and distribution under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service as a representative of the hospital's Pharmacy Services.

Qualifications

• Responsible for handling cash and processing transactions related to prescriptions or other pharmacy items.
• High school diploma or GED required; PTCB/ CPhT certification preferred or required.
• Certified Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy must be maintained; registration as Technician in Training if not registered.

Responsabilités

• Prepare medications according to physician orders, including unit dose packaging, labeling, and scanning.
• Assist in the IV room using aseptic technique to prepare and label injections and sterile products.
• Ring up prescription items in outpatient RX area and ensure Ohio State Board requirements are met with each sale.
• Support pharmacists with daily activities, answer phones, and manage RX paperwork and distribution.
• Rotate stock, check expiration dates, maintain a clean and safe department, and assist with inventory.
