Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support medication preparation and distribution under supervision. The technician will assist with unit dose and IV compounding, patient information lookups in Epic, and RX processing at the window.

Responsibilities include cash handling, stocking, and keeping the department safe and organized. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and Ohio licensure/certification via PTCB/CPhT as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB/CPhT certification preferred or required.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician is beneficial.
• Familiarity with medication dispensing processes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and distribution of medications under supervision.
• Use Epic to look up patient information and process RX messages.
• Prepare IV admixtures using aseptic technique.
• Handle cash for prescriptions and operate RX window.
• Maintain inventory and rotate stock, check expiration dates.
