Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to assist in the preparation and distribution of medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. You will work in unit dose, IV room, and outpatient areas, using Epic for patient information lookup and Rx messaging.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, handling deliveries, and performing receptionist duties at the RX window while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Must pass an examination approved by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, PTCB/CPhT.
• Register as Technician in Training with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy; upon completion, obtain Certified Technician designation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Unit Dose: fill, package, label, rotate and verify medications; load/ refill automated dispensing machines.
• IV room: aseptic preparation of admixtures and sterile products; label and dispense under supervision.
