Position Details

• Department: Pharmacy - Inpatient
• Part-Time: 24 hours/week
• Schedule: Requires working every Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday shift. Day/evening float position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filling medication orders and carts
• Compound sterile and non-sterile preparations
• Distribute medication to patients
• Perform nursing unit QA inspections
• Maintain stock levels across hospital areas

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Ability to perform dosage calculations
• Effective communication with hospital personnel
• Proficiency in pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing systems, and basic office tasks
• Knowledge of drugs and dosages (preferred: some college and prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience)
