Summary of Job Duties: The Pharmacy Technician I PRN will assist with dispensing functions, tasks, and duties to provide timely patient service. They will support the pharmacist in dispensing operations, including medication gathering, data research in EPIC, compounding medications, maintaining stock, and other related duties. The role involves prioritizing tasks based on immediate needs and working as part of a team to ensure accurate and efficient service.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED, Pharmacy Technician License by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Math Skills
  • 1 year pharmacy technician experience relevant to the hiring area (retail, hospital, etc.)

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Filling prescriptions accurately, preparing compounded medications, IV fluids, and managing pharmacy stock.
  • Adhering to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
