UMC Health System is looking for a Pharmacy Technician I to assist the Pharmacist in providing quality care to patients through accurate medication distribution. Responsibilities include processing medication orders, maintaining pharmacy logs, and assisting in inventory control.

The Pharmacy Technician I assists the Pharmacist and other hospital staff in providing quality care to patients by applying knowledge and training of medication distribution.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the State of Texas Board of Pharmacy.
Daily interaction with pharmacy department staff and frequent contact with department nurses and leaders.
This position is subject to inside environmental changes, including temperature fluctuations. Hours of duty may be irregular to accommodate departmental requirements.
