Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for our Retail pharmacy in Missouri. You will assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, supporting safe and accurate pharmacy operations.

You'll work with advanced pharmacy technologies, including robotic dispensing systems and automated cabinets, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and delivering outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy, or willingness to obtain registration by your first day of employment
• Fingerprinting and FBI background check requirements must be completed
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to patient safety and service

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications
• Support safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations
• Utilize advanced pharmacy technologies, including robotic dispensing systems and automated dispensing cabinets
• Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and deliver outstanding service to patients
• Troubleshoot pharmacy automation systems and workflow technologies as needed
• Work collaboratively with a team dedicated to excellence in patient care
