Formación

• High School Graduate required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) within two years of hire, or per state law.
• Must sit for the certification exam at least once within the first year.

Responsabilidades

• Develops competence in dispensing medications using the department’s information systems, technology, and automation.
• Prepares non-sterile products following USP, state, and federal recommendations.
• Enters medication orders into the computer system and processes medication requests.
• Manages phone calls from nurses, physicians, and patients with timely resolution or hand-off.
• Maintains pharmacy procedures and documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Complies with legal, regulatory, accreditation standards including USP and DNV requirements.
