Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, or an equivalent background.
• Current State Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Certification or National Certification as applicable by state(s) required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enter basic prescriptions and data for pharmacists.
• Troubleshoot adjudication issues.
• Read, interpret, and transcribe prescriptions, charts, and lab notes, including ICD-10 codes.
• Educate members on prescription rules and assistance programs.
• Respond to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members regarding formulary and prescription benefits.
