Job summary

Elevance Health’s BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Tech I- Script Renewal Specialist to interpret and enter prescriptions and help resolve adjudication issues.

You will support members and providers, ensuring accurate data for pharmacists. A HS diploma, 1 year of pharmacy experience, and state tech certification are required, with a hybrid schedule of in-office 1–2 days per week.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year pharmacy experience minimum.
• State Pharmacy Tech license or certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and enters basic prescriptions; troubleshoots adjudication issues.
• Verifies member information and inputs data for pharmacists.
• Educates members on prescription rules and available assistance programs.
• Responds to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members regarding formulary and benefits.
