Job summary

MyCHN in Webster, Texas is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient medication services for our patients.

You will manage patient and prescription data, prepare medications, assist with insurance processes, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (Texas) and CPhT certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage patient and prescription data accurately in pharmacy systems.
• Prepare medications including counting, measuring, labeling, and packaging.
• Assist with insurance adjudication, prior authorizations, and refill requests.
• Support prescription processing and work directly with patients and providers.
• Handle transactions, collect payments, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records on prescription activity and inventory.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Identify and report safety risks, equipment issues, or compliance concerns.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth operations.
