Job summary

DeliverIt Group is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the Retail Pharmacist in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services across multiple Texas locations.

You will prepare and process prescriptions, manage inventory, assist patients and providers, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, medication handling, and inventory management.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain patient safety.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software and electronic prescription systems.
  • Ability to work evenings or closing shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists with preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing prescription medications.
  • Process electronic prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and completeness of patient information.
  • Assemble, stock, label, and organize medications while monitoring inventory levels and expiration dates.
  • Maintain accurate prescription records and physician orders in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist patients and healthcare providers by answering routine questions and referring clinical inquiries to the pharmacist when appropriate.
  • Notify patients when prescriptions are ready for pickup.
  • Process prescription transactions and accurately record charges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy by sanitizing work areas and equipment and following established safety procedures.
  • Complete administrative and recordkeeping duties as assigned.
  • Provide operational support to Sugar Land and Bedford retail pharmacy locations through the company's electronic pharmacy systems.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and all applicable federal and state laws.

Job Summary

The Certified Pharmacy Technician supports the Retail Pharmacist in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services.   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management software and electronic prescription systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
  • Availability to work evening or closing shifts based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail pharmacy experience.
  • Experience with pharmacy inventory management systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements required for prescription preparation and data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy environment.
