Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, assist pharmacists, manage inventory, and ensure accurate fulfillment of prescriptions at the FuzeRx location.

The role requires 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience, a valid license, and knowledge of pharmacy laws. You will coordinate deliveries, maintain records, and collaborate across teams to enhance patient care and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience in a high-volume setting.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence.
• Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and technician-specific regulations.
• Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in pharmacy technology systems and willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work at a computer for extended durations, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and patient support.

Responsibilities

• Prescription Fulfillment: Pick and fill medications per guidelines and safety standards.
• Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate inventory, cycle counts, ensure availability.
• Patient Chart Management: Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient records.
• Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with inquiries and patient care initiatives.
• Medication Packing & Delivery Coordination: Pack with standard procedures and arrange deliveries, including refill authorizations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to streamline operations and patient experience.
• Workstation Management: Manage tasks and workstations to complete orders safely and accurately.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to laws and company policies governing technician responsibilities.
• Performance Tracking: Meet KPIs established by leadership.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices and tools.
