Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and assist pharmacists with daily tasks. This role requires at least a high school diploma, confidentiality, and current licensure where applicable.

You will engage customers, perform reception duties, data entry, and dispensing activities with accuracy while upholding safety standards. The position emphasizes HIPAA compliance, teamwork, and ongoing coaching of staff, with opportunities to participate in

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service in a health and wellness focused role.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Assist pharmacist in all duties not requiring professional judgement.
• Maintain current registration, certification or licensure as required by state.
• Support reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with non-dispensing services and CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with law.
