Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and assist pharmacists with dispensing and customer service in a compliant, safe store environment.

The role requires active state registration/licensure where applicable and a commitment to HIPAA regulations. You will perform data entry, reception duties, adjudication, and ensure accurate dispensing while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except professional judgement.
• Maintain current state registration, certification, or license.
• Provide stellar customer experience with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches records.
