Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join BBC Bronson Battle Creek on a full-time, on-site basis. You will assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications, supporting outpatient, inpatient, and infusion pharmacy environments.

Pathway includes Technician I/II/III with licensing requirements and ongoing competency expectations. A sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 is available, with competitive benefits and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Temporary Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required on hire; permanent licensure within one year.
• PTCB certification required to transition to permanent licensure.
• Students enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy with a valid intern license may not require certification.
• Skills in mathematics and basic algebra.
• Effective communication with pharmacists, hospital staff and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV admixtures.
• Interpret, transcribe and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Support different work locations (outpatient, inpatient) and shifts.
• Read and analyze data from various systems to plan actions with pharmacists.
• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with coworkers and patients.
