Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II for inpatient settings. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will assist in filling prescriptions and preparing IV admixtures, following organization policies and Michigan licensing guidelines.

This role builds on Pharmacy Technician I competencies. This PRN, part-time position involves physical work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and coordination with pharmacists and hospital staff to ensure accurate medication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Permanent Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Internal applicants must have clean disciplinary record and acceptable performance score.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and preparing IV admixtures.
• Interpret, transcribe, and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Maintain competency of Pharmacy Technician I; perform related duties.
• Work in outpatient/inpatient settings and support various shifts.
