Job summary

Responsibilities include patient registration data entry, processing refill orders, HIPAA-compliant handling, and assisting pharmacists across locations while maintaining inventory workflow and patient safety. 18+ and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• PTCB or EXCEPT certification.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC skills and online form handling.
• Intermediate keyboarding (≥25 WPM).
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible shift availability and 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations using Walgreens data entry procedures.
• Handle prescription requests and refills within HIPAA guidelines.
• Troubleshoot missing information and resolve data-entry exceptions.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, and transition inventory stages.
• Count, label, pack and ship prescriptions; maintain a clean work area.
• Support pharmacists and communicate issues to senior staff.
