Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment to provide order processing support for fulfillment and assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications using the fulfillment system. Follows SOPs and company policies.

The role requires obtaining an active technician license within 90 days of hire and maintaining it, as well as duties such as labeling, packing, cycle counts, and resolving order delays. Adheres to quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing where required.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic MS Windows and MS Office skills.
• Experience delivering customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develops proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations.
• May assist with department training and new hire support.
• Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system.
• Performs manual packing, including packing/shipping and order verification.
• Affixes labels to containers.
• Conducts cycle counts and puts away stock.
• Resolves order delays and handles upgrades/cancels.
• May stock non-pharmaceutical products.
• Other duties as needed.
• Must obtain active Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days and maintain it.
