Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our Birmingham, Alabama team on a 7-on/7-off schedule. This onsite role focuses on preparing and packaging prescriptions, and running medication cycles through our Parata TCG machine under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, pharmacy technician licensure, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required by state.
• National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Maintain inventory and assist in training and development activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing dispensing.

May assist in physical inventory.Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
