Assists the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients and patient care areas. Identifies, prepares, packages, labels, and delivers medications, including sterile products (such as chemotherapy), under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Trade School: Pharmacy Technician Training Program (Preferred)

Experience

• Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
