Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an IR Technologist II to join their team. In this role, you will provide high quality patient care and assist in interventional procedures while managing radiologic equipment. A commitment to safety and patient well-being, alongside the relevant certifications, is essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • 2 Years experience as a dedicated VIR Technologist in an interventional radiology department is required.
  • RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) certification required.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality patient care while performing diagnostic radiographs.
  • Assist physicians in interventional/invasive procedures.
  • Maintain records, films and operate radiologic equipment safely.

Primary function is to deliver high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs, and performing and/or assisting physicians in interventional/invasive procedures. Maintains records, films and paperwork. Prepares, maintains and operates radiologic and special procedure equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines.


Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Non Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)


Experience

2 Years experience as a dedicated VIR Technologist in an interventional radiology department (Required)

License/Certifications

RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)


RT(VI) - Reg Technologist (VI) (Preferred)

RT(CV) - Reg Technologist (CV) (Preferred)
