Applicant must possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Must be currently licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the California Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience with knowledge of all aspects of California Pharmacy Technician Statutes is required. Must have current CPR certification that complies with the guidelines set by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, which can be obtained prior to orientation. This position requires frequent travel between RSBCIHI clinic locations; reliable transportation and flexibility are essential. The technician participates in daily pharmacy operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, including record keeping, inventory control, prescription filling, and quality management. Sensitivity to Indian culture and community is important.
High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a recognized pharmacy technician training course.
Current CPR certification per AHA or Red Cross guidelines, obtainable prior to orientation.
Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the California Board of Pharmacy. Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between clinics.
All aspects of California pharmacy technician statutes.
Typing speed of 30 words per minute recommended.
Ability to work with the Indian community and be sensitive to its cultural needs.
Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds, and operating related equipment. Driving between clinics as needed.
$43,680.00 ($21.00/hour)
