Job summary

A family-oriented group of independent pharmacies is looking for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician to assist with processing and filling prescriptions at their Medicap Pharmacy in Story City, Iowa. You will work under pharmacist supervision, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt handling of tasks. Experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred but not required, we will train you.
• Pharmacy technicians must be nationally certified and registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Greet customers and answer questions about prescriptions.
• Receive and check the validity of prescriptions.
• Select appropriate medicine and measure dosages.
