Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in delivering accurate prescriptions and efficient patient service. You will process prescriptions, enter data, and prepare medications while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

You will interact with customers, maintain records, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean. The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and compliance in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old where required by location.
• Current Board of Pharmacy registration or licensure required where applicable.
• Ability to operate computers, registers, and pharmacy systems
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Working knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency in computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

• Processing prescriptions and entering data under pharmacist supervision
• Preparing medications and assisting with order processing
• Interact with patients and answer questions; direct clinical questions to pharmacist
• Maintain organization, restock supplies, and keep workspace clean
